We initiated our business in 1982, being one of the first 3 companies in the Turkish research sector. With our academic infrastructure, we have successfully carried our focus, which we define as "transmitting academic experience and approach to social and marketing research and being a quality leader", until today. In 2017, we added Research Technologies to our main field of activity, Marketing, and Social Research. We started to offer custom research solutions for our domestic and global customers.

We carry out our activities from our own office as a limited liability company in Levent, Istanbul. We have registration in ITO (Chamber of Commerce) and ISO (Chamber of Industry). Our corporate and individual memberships include ESOMAR, TUAD, KOSGEB, ITKIB, KalDer, and TEMA.

Associate Professor Pervin Olgun leads the company as the leading partner and Chairman of the Board at BAREM. She founded BAREM after her academic career in statistics. Our other partners Sencer Binyıldız and Tezer Binyıldız are also in the team.

With our WIN (Worldwide Independent Network of Market Research and Opinion Poll) and GIA (Gallup International Association) connections, we can conduct research in 79 countries.

To date, we have carried out more than 6,000 qualitative and quantitative research projects for more than 700 of our local and international customers.

Our Quality Journey: We are Turkey’s leading research company in quality. Our quality journey, which started with our establishment and was recorded when we joined the National Quality Movement in 2004, continues.

Digitalization: In 2004, we designed and developed a digital platform, OOP (Office Automation Platform),  where we manage all our processes of the company. This was one of the early Management  Information systems in our industry globally. This platform hosts and shares all managerial and operational processes, quality documents, experiences, and learning with the employees, as well as the BDL (BAREM Digital Library), which includes all the projects realized since 1982. In addition, all data that will be the basis for the management’s decisions are kept on the OOP, and the automatic calculation of KPIs and the corporate reports are available at any time.

Research & Development: In 2017, We became the first and only market research company recognized as an R&D Center by the Ministry of Industry and Technology. In the very same year, we were entitled to receive the TÜR certificate with the DigiPanel project supported by TÜBİTAK. We completed the big data model called CityTrackSM, which was developed within the scope of TÜBİTAK Technology and Innovation Support Programs, Measurement of Service Efficiency in Local Governments, and Citizen Perception Management Project.

As BAREM ARGE, we develop economic research models on digital platforms that can respond to the needs of public institutions and organizations, as well as all large and small private institutions. These  "software as a service" tools can produce instant reports. We are awarded twice with the ‘Efficiency Project Award’ from the Ministry of Industry and Technology TC in 2019 with ClientTrackSM, and in 2021 with another tool, EmployeeTrackSM.
